The competition will take place on Canale Circondariale Bando Vallelepri in Ostellato di Ferrara.
The sector involved for training and official competition days of the Coarse Angling World Championship for Nations is located very closed to Ostellato village.
The competition venue is km 3,0 long and easy to be reached through driveways and is totally bordered by a fully practicable road.
Depth ranges from 1,5 m to 2,5 m all alongside the above mentioned competition venue.
The most present fishes are breams of sizes ranging from 50/60 g to 3 kg. Carps and mirror carps are also present, even of big sizes, crucians, cat fishes, eels, sanders (or pikeperch), wels, pumpkin-seeds, herbivorous carp. No minimal sizes are foreseen.
The most used techniques are roubaisienne and English rods.

The event takes place in the village of Ostellato, in the province of Ferrara, the main city, 40 km far of it.
- The nearest airport is Bologna's, which is also the main city of Emilia Romagna region, 80 km far from Ostellato. Starting from Bologna, take the A13 highway towards Padova and exit in Ferrara Sud, then go through the Ferrara Mare freeway up to the Ostellato toll.
- Other airports closed to the village of Ostellato are Verona's, Forlì's and Venezia's.
- The opening ceremony will take place in Firenze. To reach Firenze, get the Ferrara Mare freeway from Ostellato to A/13 Ferrara Sud exit, towards Bologna direction. Once arrived in Bologna, follow any directional marks towards Firenze on the A1 highway and exit in Firenze Nord.
