The competition will take place in the Arno river, close to the town of Castelfranco di Sotto (Pisa).
The competition venue is about km 1,0 long and is bordered by a driveway, accessible from many access roads.
Depth ranges from 3 to 5 meters.
The main fish species are "channel" (big catfish), and in less quantity carps, chubs as well as other species.
Techniques most used are: Roubaisienne, Telescopic rods and Bolognese rods.
Castelfranco di Sotto is a small town which is about 35 km far from Pisa.
